Cally’s Way

Cally’s Way is a history-based adventure about love and loss, mothers and daughters, and the way historical horrors shape our identities whether we know about them or not. Set in Crete, the novel interweaves the 2002 love story of Cally, a 25-year old business graduate, with that of Callisto, her grandmother, who was a runner in the Cretan Resistance during World War II.

At The Foot Of The Rapids

At The Foot Of The Rapids is the story of the place where the Otonabee River runs through what is now the City of Peterborough. Published by the City as a Millennium Project, this brief history starts 10,000 years ago, moving through all the different people and landscapes to arrive at Peterborough today. The book’s great strength lies in the marriage of my text with historic photographs taken from the Balsillie Collection Of Roy Studio Images, and the book’s design by Jerrard Smith of Tricksters Design.
